Q: What is CRTX™?

CRTX™ is a crypto investor personality diagnostic. Answer 30 questions and discover which of 16 investor DNA types you are — along with your strengths, blind spots, and a personalized trading prescription.

Q: How is this different from MBTI or 16personalities?

MBTI measures general personality. CRTX™ measures specifically how you think, decide, and behave as a crypto investor. Every question, every axis, and every prescription was designed around the realities of crypto markets — not generic psychology.

Q: How long does the test take?

About 7–10 minutes for 30 questions. There are no right or wrong answers — only honest ones. The more honestly you answer, the more useful your result.

Q: How many types are there?

16 types, generated from 4 axes with 2 poles each: Signal — Data-Driven (D) vs Vibe-Based (V) Horizon — Long-Term (H) vs Short-Term (T) Process — Rules-Based (R) vs Intuition-Based (I) Exposure — Concentrated (B) vs Diversified (P) Your result is a 4-letter code — for example, DHRB or VTIP.

Q: What does my 4-letter code mean?

Each letter represents which pole you lean toward on each axis. DHRB means Data-driven, Long-term Horizon, Rules-based, Concentrated (Big bet). Every combination has a unique name, description, and prescription.

Q: How does the scoring work?

Each question uses a 7-point scale from "Strongly Agree" to "Strongly Disagree." Your answers are averaged within each axis and converted to a 0–100 score. Scores below 50 lean left (D/H/R/B), scores above 50 lean right (V/T/I/P).

Q: What if my score is right in the middle?

If your axis score is close to 50, your result will show "Borderline" for that axis. This means you genuinely sit between two poles — and your prescription will reflect that nuance. It is not a bad result. Many successful investors are borderline on one or two axes.

Q: Can I get the same type as someone with completely different answers?

Yes. Two people can both score DHRB but have very different intensity levels on each axis. One might be a slight D, strong H, extreme R, and moderate B. The prescription accounts for these differences — not just the 4-letter code.

Q: Is the test scientifically validated?

CRTX is built on established frameworks in behavioral finance — including Kahneman's System 1/2 thinking, cognitive bias research, and portfolio theory. It has not been independently peer-reviewed. It is a practitioner tool designed for self-awareness, not a clinical diagnostic.

Q: Can my type change over time?

Yes — and it probably will. Markets rewire how you make decisions. Many investors who tested as DHRB during a bull market discover they are closer to VTRP after living through a 70% drawdown. We recommend retaking the test after every major market cycle.

Q: I got a type I don't agree with. What should I do?

First, ask yourself: are you answering what you do, or what you wish you did? The most common reason for a surprising result is answering aspirationally rather than honestly. Try retaking the test and answer based on your actual past behavior, not your ideal self.

Q: My result says I'm Vibe-Based (V) but I think I'm analytical. Why?

This is the most common surprise result. Most people believe they are more data-driven than they actually are. If you have ever bought a coin primarily because of community excitement, influencer recommendation, or narrative momentum — even once — the test is likely detecting that pattern correctly.

Q: What if I get a "bad" archetype?

There are no bad archetypes. Every type has strengths, shadows, and a prescription designed to maximize your strengths and manage your blind spots. A VTIP (Meme Surfer) who knows they are a VTIP and trades accordingly will outperform a DHRB who doesn't know themselves.

Q: What is the prescription and how do I access it?

The prescription is your personalized trading guide — it includes portfolio allocation, trading rules, forbidden behaviors, position sizing rules, and compatible/clashing archetype types. Save your result with your email to unlock the full prescription.

Q: Is the prescription actual financial advice?

No. The prescription is a self-awareness framework based on your psychological profile. It is not personalized financial advice. All investment decisions are your own responsibility. Past performance of any archetype does not guarantee future results.

Q: Can two people with the same type have different prescriptions?

The base prescription is the same per type. However, the intensity of your axis scores adds nuance — a "Borderline B" and an "Extreme B" on the Exposure axis will receive slightly different concentration guidelines within the same prescription.

Q: Do I need to create an account to take the test?

No. You can take the full test and see your type, code, and basic result without signing up. Creating an account (with your email) unlocks the full prescription and saves your result to your dashboard.

Q: How do I log in? I don't see a password field.

CRTX™ uses magic link authentication — no password required. Enter your email, check your inbox for an 8-digit code, enter it, and you are in. The code expires after a short time.

Q: Can I retake the test?

Yes, as many times as you want. Each attempt is saved separately in your dashboard so you can track how your type evolves over time.

Q: Can I delete my account and data?

Yes. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data from our servers within 24 hours.

Q: What languages is CRTX available in?

Korean (default), English, Japanese, and Chinese (Simplified). Switch languages from the top navigation bar. Your result and prescription are fully translated in all four languages.

Q: How do I share my result?

On the result page, tap the Share button to access the share panel. You can share directly to X (Twitter), WhatsApp, Telegram, or LINE, copy the link, download a share card image, or copy a pre-formatted text block.

Q: Will my friends see my full prescription if I share my result?

No. Shared links show only the free result — archetype code, name, description, and axis bars. The prescription remains private to your account.

Q: Is CRTX free?

The test and basic result (type code, description, axis scores, strengths, shadows) are completely free. The full prescription is unlocked free with email registration.

Q: What is CRTX+?

CRTX+ is a premium tier (coming soon) that will include advanced features: archetype evolution tracking over multiple cycles, compatibility deep dives, personalized market condition alerts, and team/portfolio analysis for funds.

Q: What data do you collect?

Your quiz answers, result scores, and email address (if you register). We do not collect financial data, wallet addresses, or trading history.

Q: Do you sell my data?

Never. Your data is used solely to generate and store your result. We do not share or sell user data to any third party.

Q: Where is my data stored?

Securely via Supabase on servers located in Northeast Asia region. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
